As such we have implemented best-in-class cleaning and hygiene solutions with reinforced protocols in collaboration with a global hygiene and disinfection solutions provider, Diversey. It is also one of the worldwide specialists in developing cleaning and hygiene technologies in the hospitality industry, with a strong commitment to sustainable development.


Rest assured, while we are making modifications to ensure your safety, the hospitality that we have come to be known for is as present as ever.


We are also offering maximum flexibility in our cancellation policy to support your travel plans.

Travel Safety and Enhanced Cleaning Protocol

Staff Training

In order to have an effective cleaning and sanitization program, the team’s health, safety, and knowledge are vital. Accordingly, all colleagues have received specific training on WHO and Ministry of Health approved COVID-19 preventive and responsive protocols which include but are not limited to Hand Hygiene, Respiratory Hygiene, Physical Distancing, Cleaning and Sanitizing best practices, Safe Food Handling and Food Hygiene. Our Health & Hygiene manager personally reviews and ensures all protocols are stringently followed.

Temperature Screening

Temperature screening is implemented at all entrance points, including both for guests and employees. A dedicated nurse is available 24/7 on call to respond as per the protocols set by Dubai Health Authorities.

Personal Protective Equipment

All colleagues wear appropriate PPE while at work. We also have PPE kits including individual disinfectant wipes available for our guests.

Social Distancing

We are practicing social distancing throughout the hotel. Signages are placed in public spaces including reception and elevators to remind guests to maintain social distance. In the restaurants, tables are placed 2m apart to maintain distance. Only 30% capacity per elevator is permitted.

Cleaning and Sanitization protocols

In collaboration with Diversey, we have enhanced our already rigorous protocols in cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-the-house areas. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection of all high-touch areas and public washrooms that affect guests and employees. We use hospital-grade disinfectants and approved cleaning products. Sanitization stations are readily available for guests and employees in public areas and back-of-the-house areas.

Physically Distant yet Connected

Guests can communicate their requests directly through their phones via our WhatsApp messenger service without using the house phones. All services such as room service, room amenities, and laundry are specially packaged and delivered at your door to avoid contact.

Guest Journey

Guest Arrival

Airport Limousines are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after each use. Only two guests are allowed in each car and guests are not permitted in the front passenger seat.
For guests arriving in their own car, parking is allocated behind the main entrance at the office tower entrance.
Guest luggage is sanitized on arrival. Luggage carts are also sanitized after every use.
Guests are kindly requested their arrival time, to ensure we are prepared for their arrival.
Protective screens are installed at the reception desk to avoid direct contact with the staff.

Guest Rooms

Every room undergoes intensive cleaning and disinfection and is immediately sealed, assuring guests that they will be the first to enter.
All items such as a pen, pad, collateral, etc. are disinfected and placed in a sealed envelope.
Minibar products are removed from the room and can be ordered upon check-in or via in-room dining.
All linen including bed linen and towels are sterilized and securely packaged as per the guidelines provided by the Dubai Health Authority.
All services such as room service, room amenities, and laundry are specially packaged and delivered at your door to avoid contact.

Play Restaurant & Lounge – 3 pm to 10 pm

Tables are set to ensure a minimum of 2-meter distance.
Regular buffets are discontinued for the moment.
All dishes are fully prepared in the kitchen following the highest food safety standards.
Contactless payment options are available.
Online menus are available.

Spa & Fitness

The following facilities are currently open with strict compliance to social distancing & safety guidelines.
Mandara Spa - 10 am - 9 pm
Quantum Health Club - Sun-Thurs 6 am to 10 pm Fri-Sat - 9 am to sunset
Swimming Pool - 9.00 am to sunset.
The Hadi Salon and MOB barbershop are open for hair, beard, and nail treatments only from 12.00 pm to 7.30 pm.
All precautionary measures are in place for guest safety as per the directives from the Dubai Health Authority.

Meetings & Events

Floor plans are revised and table set-ups are adjusted to ensure a minimum of 2-meter distance.
Maximum capacity limitations are respected.
Coffee breaks and lunch is served in individually packed boxes.
Buffets are discontinued for the moment.
Disposable cutlery and cups are used.

Travel Flexibility

We understand the need for increased flexibility with travel planning in the current circumstances and are updating our cancellation policy to provide our customers with the most flexibility we can. All new and existing bookings made directly with The H Dubai for stays between now and September 30th, 2020; cancellation and modifications can be made free of charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival. Guests can call us directly at +971 4 501 8888 or email at reservations.dubai@h-hotel.com to modify or cancel their reservation.

For reservations made through a travel agent or 3rd party online booking site (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.), we are advising guests to contact their original booking agent or site for details on their COVID-19 policies.
